Thomas you're such a tease. That's ok though, I'll drink alone until then. Ha! Thanks again, by the way. I'm looking forward to hearing!

Hahah. I had to google Typically Tropical to figure out what you were talking about. I can't believe I've never heard of them, or the song! I feel so deprived. *sniffles* Downloading it now. I shall be redeemed! Barbados seems to be a popular choice for titles. From what I recall it comes from the Portuguese "los barbados" meaning "the bearded ones", a reference to the bearded fig trees they found on the island in 1536. Sometimes it's better when you don't know, eh? There's a place called "Barbados Street" in Christchurch New Zealand (which is funny to me 'cos there's a parish called Christ Church in Barbados). Also worth noting -- according to info from the Juvenilia CD, the Verlaines recorded "Angela", "Crisis..." and "You Cheat..." at a house in the aforementioned street! And last but not least, there's even a band in Sweden called Barbados. ( www.barbados.se) Fascinating... Well, maybe not but I'm a trivia buff. ;D P.S. dictionary.reference.com/search?q=tease
