About 12-15 years ago I owned Jean Paul Sartre Experience's "The Size of Food" on 12-inch vinyl. I have not heard it since.
A guy at the office where I worked had a cover-version of "Mother" by Wedding Present and wanted to hear the original.
So I brought the copy in. He borrowed it and returned it.
I had an original copy of The Who's "Substitution" on 45, Reactor label, worth a nice penny. I didn't want it laying around, so I put it inside the JPSE sleeve and foolishly left it at the office (believing that no-one in Canada, least of all the nerds in my office, would steal a JPSE album. I was mistaken.).
A couple days later, the album (with Who single inside) disappered, went for a walk and never returned.
I have wanted that record (actually, both records) ever since, and have actually been seeking the JPSE "Size of Food" CD on eBay for a few years, but the only availability of that recording on eBay always seems to be on cassette tape, which isn't useful for me.
I really, really, really hate taking food off JPSE's plate ("Food" of any "Size" -- terrible pun, sorry), but if someone can make me a CDR dub of that album, I have a fairly good selection of old kiwi/FN cds I can dub for a trade.
Cheers, Dave

ps. One of the things I loved about that old 12-inch vinyl version was the way the album concluded into a groove of a bellbird singing that would endlessly cycle. When I was working I would let that run for an hour sometimes, it was so relaxing and beautiful. I am curious if the bellbird makes an appearance on the CD...? I later bought a CD from Radio New Zealand of NZ bird calls, just so I could hear a bellbird again, and their version only lasted 40 seconds and didn't sound anywhere as cool.
